Good Bye 2013, Hello 2014

Happy New Year!!!

I hope everyone had a nice time celebrating the coming of the New Year! I went to a small party with some family friends. As I watched the ball drop at midnight I thought of everything I have accomplished in 2013, and everything I have to look forward to in 2014. Well I decided to share it with you.

Starting off 2013 the first thing I could remember is I had a business competition where I participated in Interview Skills. I did quite well placing 6th regionally, not enough to get me to state, but awesome for my first try. Next I took the ACT and finally received a score I needed to get into the college I wanted. In March I was able to ride with a Olympian and it had to have been one of the best weekends of my life and I really hope I can do it again this year! In May I went to Disney World for BPA Nationals. I made it to Nationals to receive an award, so I had lots of free time being able to visit Coco Beach and all of the parks. I went with three of my good friends and my favorite teacher, lets just say it was an awesome trip!!! In June I went to one of the best Leadership Camps ever! I met some great new friends and really learned a lot about myself. One of the hardest things I accomplished there was finally finding something I was unable to accomplish on my own and I reached a breaking point. Appearing weak is one of my worst fears and i am someone who strives to appear to keep it all together. Luckily I had some amazing people that I had just met to help pick me up! In July I was selected Equine Representative of my county and it was a very reward experience and I am still thankful to everyone who was on the committee to select me. I also had the most incredible ride of my life winning my jumper class with my little mare. August is when I sent in my one and only college application to the college of my dreams. I was accepted August 13th one day before my 18th birthday! What a great present!! August 14th I legally became an adult. (Scary stuff… Who thought it was a good idea I became an adult.) Also I had my last first day of high school, which was bitter sweet. Nothing too much more exciting has happened just school and hanging out with friends. I've had some great times with friends and family this year and I couldn't ask for anything more!

Now what is to come? Well, lots of exciting stuff is on it's way. First off, the first thing that came to my mind was 2014 is the year I graduate high school. They have been calling us the class of 2014 for four years now and now we are finally in 2014! This will also been my last show season for now with the two horses I have now. I have been in 4-H since I was nine years old and now it is my last year. it is quite sad for me, and I don't know what I will do without my two girls next year. However I will be moving out to a brand new city, in a new state, starting my first year of college. I am very excited and ready to start this new chapter of my life. I am also happy to be able to take you guys on this journey  with me!

Best Friends

Hello, hope you are having a wonderful Saturday!

We had a beautiful day here with lots of snow, so my sister and friends decided to have a snow day photo shoot. As cheesy as it sounds I really needed some updated photos with the three girls who have been there for me since the start. I really can not say enough about these girls as they are more than just my best friends. These girls know everything about me and have helped me through every hardship I ever went through. I am sure everyone has went through the stage where you hate to be around your sister or her friends, believe me I did too, but now my sister and I are very very close along with her good friend Natasha. Natasha and Annie will come and sit in my room for hours with me, in fact my last blog post they were sitting in my bed playing Sims while I was at my desk typing.  Best friends are truly what makes the world go round. I don't know how to thank these girls for everything they have done for me!
On to fashion aspect of things. Can I just say how much I love my outfit! I found the sweater in my closet while cleaning this week it was from the Gap. I am a huge fan of minimal color so I paired it with a black tank top from Target and black leggings from Old Navy. I thought the brown boots helped break up the black on the bottoms and they are super nice in the snow! The necklace I am wearing was an early Christmas present from Hope. I absolutely love it!! I have always wanted a big statement necklace, and I am sure you will be seeing me wear this a lot now!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

I had a great day today with my grandparents and cousins! I don't get to see them very much so it is very nice to be able to visit them. We played card for a couple hours after lunch, and can I just say my family is the most competitive people I have ever met! We were all sitting down getting quite bored went my sister, two cousins, and parents decided to go Black Friday shopping! (Lets just say it was CRAZY!) We went to Old Navy and they were having great sales! I will post a haul on what I got when I get home. Well the outfit I decided to wear was the sweater and skirt.

 Hopefully I will remember to bring a real camera so I can post some higher quality photos. Here is a shameless selfie with the make up I wore.

I think I will do a post on the makeup I wear on a daily basis, as this is how I try to look each day. (School days are debatable with how late I am running.) 

Can I just say how my hair turned out!!!! This never happens!!!!!

Hello There :)

Hello There!!

Well... Welcome to my blog. My name is Bailey and I am 18 years old. Before I get started blogging I will say some facts about me.
1. This is me

2. As I am sure you can see I have very Curly Hair (Hint the name of my blog) Here is a better example of what my hair looks like. (Yup somedays it is just a curly mess)

3. I am currently still in High School, but I will be finishing up and headed to college next year.
4. I really have started to like fashion more and more. I went from a kid that wore only t-shirts and jeans to being one that dresses up everyday.
5. My favorite movie is the Breakfast Club
6. My favorite color goes between blue, yellow, and pink. Although my favorite color combination is black and white. Its simple and you can usually never go wrong.
7. I listen to all types of music... literally anything my shuffle can go from piano cover to rap music.
8. I ride horses
9. I actually enjoy picking out clothes for school each day and doing my own makeup.
10. I go to a school where almost everyone wears hoodies and sweatpants all the time so I'm sure you can tell that I stand out.
11. I want nothing more in this world than to travel. I dream about living in London and traveling to different cities. With it being senior year I have a horrible case of Wanderlust and I can't wait to move to a new city for college
12. I can't go a day without lipstick. (Currently I like a more berry color)
13. I wish I had a British Accent, but sadly I can't even attempt one.
14. I am obsessed with Tumblr and Youtube... It is a really problem...like I stay up forever...
15. I am super excited to finally have my own Blog. I have been reading them for almost two years, but now I have finally decided to start my own.
